About the Ingredients

The Total block formula contains probiotics, a large amount of vitamin E, and very important amino acids, along with the mineral-rich powder.  Most importantly, the formula is balanced to the horse's cellular structure so every ingredient is immediately assimilated into their systems with no waste.

Probiotics

Probiotics are live bacteria that every digestive system needs to function effectively.  They are the same bacteria found in yogurt. Antibiotics and to some extent, paste wormers, kill bad bacteria but also destroy these good bacteria. Total has enough probiotics to maintain a healthy digestive system and re-establish the healthy bacteria as needed.  With Total blocks available free-choice, the end result is increased feed efficiency and consistent digestive health.

Beet Pulp

Beet Pulp has an internal cleansing action and helps make the blocks hard.

The Total block formula contains probiotics, a large amount of vitamin E, and very important amino acids, along with the mineral-rich powder.  Most importantly, the formula is balanced to the horse's cellular structure so every ingredient is immediately assimilated into their systems with no waste.

Salt

The salt level is especially important for Total's effective utilization in the horse's blood and cells.  At approximately 14% salt content, Total is less concentrated than the horse's cellular fluid.  By providing a separate white salt block, your horse has the option of accessing that and not Total, if salt is the only nutrient its body requires.
